Once again, Paddy´s Market has rocked my world :)
On my morning off, what am I to do but buy food and clothes? (to be fair, I do need more clothes for work.. I mean half my wardrobe is black.. (we can only wear black).. but I keep running out of things to wear!)
The 2nd floor of Paddys is an outlet mall where they have a ton of stores selling things for cheap, obviously. So I go into this shoe store.. they don´t have my size (surprise, surprise) but they did have a lot of cute accessories. A few days ago I broke 1 of the two pairs of sunglasses that I brought here and my other pair is a bit wonky from being stepped on at Country Jam.
So I pick up this pair that are super cute and they said $2 on them. AWESOME right? So I try them on and they look cute and I go to pay for them (along with many other things) and I look at the receipt after I pay as I´m walking out of the store and I notice that the sunglasses were $5… So I turn my bargain seeking butt around and tell the lady that they said $2, not $5.. so she says okay I can give you a refund but I can´t give them to you for $2 because they are $5 in the system… WHAT? That would almost never happen in the US. Ever. So I told her to forget it because I still wanted them.
Then I went to a store called Cotton On, which I think I´ve mentioned on here before. Very cute clothes and pretty cheap as well. This store was a pop up store just of clearance things, aka Heaven. I tried on some black high waisted shorts that I had tried on before but in a smaller size ;) DING! and I thought they looked so cute so I decided that $20 was an alright price because I could wear them to work or in daily life and summer is coming up anyway. I also tried on 2 dresses, both for work and they rocked ($5 and $10). I get to the counter and obviously am prepared to pay $35 for all of the clothes. She said “$20 please”…. So I gladly hand over the money and then looked at my receipt to see what was so cheap and it was the shorts! $5!! Of course, by the time I realized this, I was already out of the store so I had to turn back around and grab them in brown as well ;)
Overall a successful shopping day! (note to self.. STOP SHOPPING!)
