First, he had a party last night and the whole house was pretty much trashed. I came home at 4am after working 9 hrs at the bar and there were bottles and garbage everywhere. The floor was so sticky that I could barely walk on it because my shoes kept slipping off.
I decided that if he cleaned the whole thing up, that I´d forgive him. We´re supposed to have a massive house party next friday for my roommate Olivia´s leaving drinks and our neighbors really hate when we have parties so now they really have a right to complain.. 2 weekends in a row? Great planning..
I heard him cleaning up this morning and decided to go get some breakfast, so I moseyed upstairs and he was just starting to mop.. without sweeping first of course because hes a boy… I´m pouring some cereal when I looked down and realized that there was a lime wedge on the floor. When I went to put the milk back in the fridge, I looked and sure enough, the limes that I had bought for ME were gone. EFHNIKFNAEKFCNKSDFJSFKHJE
This may seem like a tiny crime to you all, but this is not the first of the things that he has taken, eaten, ruined etc. He throws all of his ash from his cigarettes down the sink, so when you´re in the kitchen making food, all you can smell is nasty cigarettes. He smokes in the house when its raining. He keeps using my milk and eating my food. He never cleans on a daily basis or takes the trash out. ITS SO ANNOYING.
Worst roommate award ever.

So I have discovered the thrift stores of Sydney, thanks to my good friend Kat! I bought this jacket for like 6 bucks at an op shop in Newtown. If you crossed Hugh Hefner with a circus ringmaster, this jacket would be that baby. I loove the way its short in the front and long in the back (can´t see from the pic=
It makes me feel like I might bust out a magic trick at any given moment and I love it!
Also, just a gratuitous picture of my lovely mug :)

VERY LOUDLY. ABOVE MY HEAD. AT 7AM, after I worked a long shift yesterday and didnt get to sleep until the wee hours of the morning.
SHUT UPPPPPPP. YOU´RE BEING RUDE
I went upstairs to get breakfast and she waves at me like its the middle of the afternoon. I hope my scary “didnt get much sleep” face showed my true feelings. Have some respect.

These muffins are AMAZING.
I just might eat every single one of them myself.
That may or may not be the equivalent of eating a couple sticks of butter, but theres apple in there too right? MUST BE HEALTHY!

There all kinds of people who stand on the street and try to get people to give to their charity. I always stop if I have time because A. I feel guilty not stopping and B. I know that I won´t be able to help them out because I´m only here temporarily.
Today I ran into one of these people and of course, I stopped, took my headphones out and had a conversation even though I just wanted to go grocery shopping. The guy turned out to be really cool and we were talking about his job and how he loves it and how I thought ‘Yuck.. I could NEVER do this job’
After chatting for a few minutes about our situations, I left him to do his job and I went to Aldi. On the way into the shopping area, there was this table set up and two girls sitting there called me over. They were collecting donations for Australian Paralympic athletes so they could go to England this summer for the Olympics. I definitely would have felt like an ass if I didn’t donate (and the guy I had been talking to previously was so nice, that I felt a bit inspired), so of course, I did. 20$. IM SUCH A SUCKER.
For $20 in donations, I received two pins and 2 cards with scratch off instant win prizes and also a chance to win bigger prizes online. I stuffed them into my bag, and went to buy some food (priorities)… Then on my way out of the store, I decided to see if I had “instantly” won anything. I scratched off the first card and it said you suck.. then I scratched off the next card and I had won $25….
Normally I would have been like COOL!!! I WON!! but instead I was thinking more about how I actually just made $5 off of a charity for disabled athletes.
Its the thought that counts, right?
